“What makes you look to the sky and wish to be a Bird” -SG
A very cool solar event is coming up next week.

Do play it safe, looking directly into the sun with out proper gear will damage your eyes. For a sobering reminder here is a precautionary story:

I load up just the tools I need for the job with out lugging out a giant prepare for all contingencies tool box
The Stanley STST41001 Portable Storage Tote Tray is a portable, multi purpose tool storage unit that makes it easy to carry your tools from one site to another. It has a rugged, deep design that is wide enough to transport drills, grinders & other larger tools. It features an updated design with reinforced structure through grids, and tool racks that keep tools organized and accessible. Tote dimensions: 19.34″ X 13″ X 7.6″.
I’ve been working with Aircraft Composite materials & construction since the early 90’s
It’s a technology, art & science where my Learning & Capability has been on an exponential path since the start. I’ve given demonstrations & talks at local EAA chapters, worked on various Composite Home built aircraft all the way up to putting the skills to use with Pratt & Whitney and NASA where I served as a composites technical focal on a high demand 2 year Nacelle technology project.
I Actually started a book on composites years ago but it was not until the release of my TIG welding book where I got a re-kindled interest in finishing the book. Like the TIG book this Composites book is offered in Kindle (digital) and Paperback versions and written in a to-the-point format.
This book is written from the perspective of someone who has the combo of: Industry Experience, Embry-Riddle BSAE, Home built Aircraft, Hands On Fabrication and true eyes open DIY Ingenuity. I Hope this can be a valuable resource for anyone working with Composite materials / structures for Aircraft, Auto & Marine applications

Found a great course / e-book for those interested in drawing cars, applies to Airplanes & boats as well. can keep it a hobby or can help lead into a career in the graphic design & Automotive industries.
Tim has a great amount of talent & lot’s can be learned from this product. Great to see this level of craftsmanship outside of a CAD system. This is one of his renderings below, truly impressive.
It is that time of year again, one of the largest and best air shows & aviation get together is a week away 7/24 – 7/30 in Oshkosh Wi.
