The Möbius action cam is my main go to FPV / RC HD record camera. It’s small size, weight and form factor are idea for RC aircraft & multirotor applications. It also works well Velcro attached to a base ball hat to record the action hands free. You can live stream the video / audio for some FPV applications but for quad racing you should source from a low latency FPV camera.
To see some RC Pilot point of view work attaching the Mobius camera to a Base ball hat check out this video of me flying my Custom Designed Manta Ray at Dyer park in WPB
Run Cam 600 TVL cameras are my FPV go to source, they can take up to a 4S lipo voltage and have simple plug and ply with Video TX systems like Boscam. its ultra low latency is ideal for FPV quad racing.
The Headplay goggles are my go to FPV gear. It’s one of the most immersive FPV experiences available & with HDMI connection is future proof for HD FPV. I even fly my ZMR 250 with these goggles.
An Excellent alternative to taking out a small mortgage to buy a Go Pro Hero Black. 4K recording, remote control & cell phone app control along with multiple rigging brackets open up all kinds of action recording possibilities.
To see the EK7000 Action Cam in action here is a dash cam video I made driving down the Martin Highway 714 in South Florida
Point & Shoot Camera
The Panasonic Lumix Series of point & shoot cameras is my go to for Aviation events, Trips, Shows & Museums. I’ve taken over 20,000 photos with my camera and it keeps on ticking. Excellent option for quick turn on / ready to capture compared to the slow unlock / find the “app” functionality of a smart phone. Great for never missing a moment.
